Yin-Yang Deficiency is an end-stage pattern in type 2 diabetes, characterized by severe β-cell failure, multi-organ dysfunction, diabetic nephropathy, neuropathy, cold intolerance, and fatigue. The core pathogenesis is prolonged illness consuming both Yin and Yang, leading to severe metabolic dysfunction, organ damage, and systemic decline.

Base Formula: Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan (金匮肾气丸)

Composition:
Aconite (Fu Zi), Cinnamon (Rou Gui), Rehmannia (Shu Di), Dioscorea (Shan Yao), Cornus (Shan Zhu Yu), Poria (Fu Ling), Moutan (Mu Dan Pi), Alisma (Ze Xie)

Action: Warms Kidney Yang, tonifies Kidney Yin, and strengthens the body.
