Pattern Overview

Liver-Kidney Deficiency is a chronic degenerative pattern in cervical spondylosis, characterized by degenerative disc disease, chronic ache, weakness, and aggravation with overwork. The core pathogenesis is insufficient nourishment of the cervical spine by Liver Blood and Kidney Essence, leading to accelerated disc degeneration and instability.

Key Symptoms and Differentiation Points

Associated SymptomsSoreness in the lower back and knees, tinnitus, fatigue
Tongue and PulsePale red tongue with little coating, thready and weak pulse
