Blood Stasis is a common pattern in ankle pain following injury, characterized by sharp, fixed pain, swelling, and aggravation at night. The core pathogenesis is stagnation of blood in the ankle collaterals following trauma or overuse, causing pain, swelling, and impaired healing.
