Pattern Overview
Kidney Deficiency is the fundamental pattern in infertility, characterized by ovulation disorders or luteal phase defect, HPO axis dysfunction, poor endometrial receptivity, and irregular menstruation. The core pathogenesis is Kidney deficiency failing to govern reproduction, leading to HPO axis dysfunction, impaired follicular development, and poor endometrial receptivity.

Base Formula: Yu Lin Zhu (毓麟珠) or Wen Bao Yin (温胞饮)
Composition:
Ginseng (Ren Shen), Atractylodes (Bai Zhu), Poria (Fu Ling), White Peony (Bai Shao), Angelica (Dang Gui), Chuanxiong (Chuan Xiong), Rehmannia (Shu Di), Cuscuta (Tu Si Zi), Eucommia (Du Zhong), Licorice (Gan Cao)
Action: Tonifies Kidney, nourishes Essence, regulates menstruation, and promotes conception.
